Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, INC., Selma Alumnae Chapter would like to cordially invite you to fellowship with us for our First RED Kentucky Derby. For this inaugural event, attendance of more than 150 people is anticipated with a goal of $4,500 raised.

100% of all proceeds will go to support and encourage junior and senior high school students in Dallas, Lowndes, and Perry counties through the Selma Alumnae Chapter Scholarship Fund. The principal aim of this scholarship program is to offer financial support and to encourage serious and deserving students as they embark on their college studies.

We are seeking sponsorship or giveaways for this great event. On top of having your products served at the event, your company would be featured on our program for public acknowledgement. The funds would also aid in fueling the dreams of our future.

Haunted History Tours - Cahawba Spirits Investigation

Saturday, October 21, 2017 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Every Week until October 29, 2017

Alabama’s most famous ghost town is rarely open to nighttime visitors, but on Saturday Oct, 21st and 28th, a few lucky people will experience Old Cahawba after dark. Reserve one of a limited number of tickets, and you will be transported to Cahawba’s most haunted locations where authentic historical accounts of ghosts attached to each place will be shared. Then the Alabama Paranormal Research group will step in with their ghost hunting equipment so you can participate in a mini investigation. After the formal tour, you can swap ghost tales around a bonfire, chat with a paranormal investigator, or learn more about Cahawba’s mysterious history.

Seats for this 90 minute tour and investigation are limited and advance tickets are required. This is a deluxe wagon tour but some walking is necessary. Recommended for ages 12 and up.

Tour Times: 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30 & 9:00 p.m.
Fees: $20 per person
