Diabetes Support Group Meeting

The November Diabetes Support Group meeting will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at the Selma Dallas County Public Library, Vaughan Room, 1103 Selma Avenue, Selma, Alabama.

“Managing Holiday Stress and Diabetes” will be the topic for this month’s meeting and will be presented by a trained Extension Educator; we will discuss ways to manage diabetes and stress during the upcoming holiday season. We will also share recipes and have a taste testing where we will sample diabetic friendly recipes.

 

The program is FREE and open to the public. For more information contact the Dallas County Extension office at 334-875-3200.

Alzheimer's Outreach is holding a contest for Regions Bank employees that give out the most Collegiate Minting key chains, accepting a minimum of a $15.00 donation for each, will be deemed the winner. The donations will fund transmitter bracelets for the Project Lifesaver Program, an organization dedicated to searching for demented individuals and is in the process of being available in every Alabama County.
