The Selma and Dallas County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Information’s hosted its first annual “A Celebration of Women Shaping our Community” on Oct. 22. The event recognized women from all walks of life, whose contributions have helped shape communities throughout our great Selma and Dallas County community. We honored women in business, education, community service, humanitarians, finance and the arts. We were beyond pleased to be able to recognize these accomplished women who have walked silently in their success for decades and our celebration was able to give honor where it was well deserved!
